anyway.
hellooooo! Batam was awesome besides the fact that my stomach is still upset from the boat rides. so get ready, this is gonna be a long one! ( haha. i know my long posts annoy you. i've received complains XD but yo, writer-in-the-making here! XD )
Saturdayi woke up for subuh, then went back to sleep, then at about 7.30am i woke up again to pack my bag. i so hate packing. even though i've been through years of packing for vacations, i still
always ask the same questions, "eh nak kene bwk bape baju ah?" "kene bwk baju swimming eh?" "my bantal busuk tak muat!!!!" ( er okay that was irrelevant. hehe ) and many more lah. haha. typical me, im always paranoid when it comes to packing. :)
so then at around 10+ we left with kak mira, kak nadiah and their friend. went to tanah merah something-or-another. met nabiha&family there. checked in, blahblahblah, took boat. the boat, i guess, wasnt that rocky. it was withstandable. reached Batam in roughly 30minutes. cepat eh? lol.
reached the resort by tourbus, got our rooms, settled in. me and my sisters got one chalet, my parents and brothers got another adjoining one. our room had two single beds and one recliner. i chose the recliner, god knows why. haha. so yeah, for two nights, that recliner was used as a makeshift bed for me. my back hurt seh sleeping for that thing. oh well. i have my bed now! :D
had lunch, prayed, then i slept. for how long i dont know. then at night we had dinner at this seafood place. makanan die power ah! sedap gleee ( even though i only ate the chicken. i dont eat seafood ah. hahaha ) then went home, prayed, then went to sleep.
haha. i had a nightmare seh. i think it was because i forgot to read my doa before i slept. i dont know how i couldve forgotten, considering it has become a habit for me to read my doa before sleeping. so since i didnt read.. syaitan disturbed me in my unconsiousness.. ( aiseyman bbl mcm fhm seh! XD ) mimpi hantu seh. then in the middle of the night i woke up. then went back to sleep. read my doa this time. the nightmare was gone. haha. alhamdulillah..
Sundaywoke up, subuh, went back to sleep. for bape minutes je. haha. then woke up again for breakfast, after that went for a swim. the swimming pool was just in front of our chalets seh. convenient right? haha. me and my sister went swimming with kak nadiah, kak mira and their friend ( didnt get to find out her name. heh -_- )
the water was !@#$%^&*(-ing cold seh!!!!!!! especially since it was a beach resort, sea was just meters away from the swimming pool. so in addition to the cold water, there was unbearably strong wind. it was like swimming in ice seh! so after some time we left the swimming pool, went back to our chalets and bathed. then we all got ready and went..
SHOPPING!!~
a girl's greatest pleasure, and dont you deny it. haha. we went to Nagoya Hill and DCS Mall if im not mistaken. so yeah, shopped till we dropped! we shopped from morning till dusk. literally. we went home at about 7+ like that seh. and even a whole day of shopping wasnt enough. lol.
so in the whole shopping trip i bought;
- 1 jacket
- 2 clothes
- 1 pair of fingerless gloves
- 1 pair of shoes
- 1 pair of shades
- 1 bangle ( rocker ah babe bangle die. hahaha )
- and.. an electric guitar. :)
i love the jacket. black and white ( hehe. sorry liza! :D ) it has pictures of electric and acoustic guitars and headphones and musical notes on it. haha. it's a jacket, not a hoodie. i'll take this moment to explain breifly what's the difference between those two. ( get ready! haha XD )
a hoodie, basically, is for fashion. it doesnt really keep you warm. just puts on another layer of fabric on you. a jacket keeps you warm. and just because a jacket has a hood, that doesnt make it a hoodie. and technically, a real hoodie is actually a sweater-thick shirt with a hood. it doesnt have a zipper. so yeah, people have mistaken the term "hoodie".
my daddy saw the jacket and said, "iyah, ni lawa ni." because i've been searching for hoodies. i went crazy when my dad showed me the jacket. haha. so yeah, bought it. and so. i got two sleeveless tops. haha. one red and one checkered. i bought fingerless gloves. i actually wanted a different pair, but my dad said that it was too "rocker". er.. that's the point? haha.
went to the shoe store, went on a mega shoe-spree. dad said, "buy a few lah." cause they were having a sale. i only had time to choose 2 pairs, and one of the pairs didnt have my size. so bought only the high-top sneakers. sedih seh! :( STILL NOT OVER IT. the sneakers that didnt have my size was superlawa. hmmph. anyway. got the shades from a gift shop at the resort. sister bought the same pair. $9 je seh! haha.
the bangle, when i saw it, i instantly ran to my dad and asked for it. heheh. he let me buy it, even though it was rocker-ish. when my mum saw it she was like, "haaaa?" hehe. and last but not least.. my guitar. :D it's blue. it's electric. it's awesome. hahahaaa.
so then we went back to the chalet. i was EXHAUSTED. totally stumped. prayed, then had the compulsory Chinese New Year dinner. didnt eat much. food wasnt quite that appetizing. oh well. after that we went to sleep..

Monday
today! woke up this morning, prayed, went back to sleep. woke up, breakfast. ate. and ate. and ate. haha. was hungry lah. then we took a walk. went to this.. place. wait what's the name? dang i forgot. ah pape ah. was superwindy there since we were basically above the sea. haha. then we walked back to our chalets and tidied up a little. after that me, my sister, kak mira, kak nadiah and their friend went.. Jet-skiing!~ haha. gerek oiiiii! like heaven and earth ah!
we put on our swimsuits and went to the seaside where the jet-skiing place was. payed and blahblahblah. we had 30 minutes to share between the 5 of us. kak mira became the driver. haha. first went her friend, then kak nadiah, then my sister, then me. gerek gleeee! kak mira bwk ganas seh. and she brought us, like, all over the place. at one point a huge wave came crashing at us. for a moment or two i couldnt see anything except water. haha. i wish i had perfect vision. my specs were a barrier between my sight and the waves. maklomlah, computer geek. hahaha. so basically in one word, awesome. tak puas punye seh!
after jet-skiing we washed off abit at the swimming pool shower and then jumped into the pool. haha. tak puas maen air ah. XD so then we swam about abit ( okay fine not swim. i cant swim. hahaha. maen air ah. ) then we went to the Aqua Pool, a bigger swimming pool. played some games in the water. hahah. after some time, we went back to our chalets, packed up, got ready, left.
and here i am in singapore!
oh, and the eclipse? cm tkde pape jd je. k tkpe. i'll wait another ten years. XD
